Maui Scuba Diving offers the finest tours for all types of divers. Maui Scuba diving can be very exciting and comfortable. We can present the diver with many types of dive experiences. Diving at night should be in your plans while you are visiting. If you have never experienced a night dive we will show you an unforgettable experience with proven methods that work every time. You will see creatures that you normally don't see during the day. Many people remark that the night dive is better than during the daytime. During the daytime, the inshore reefs are just swarming with many species of fish. At times there will be an occasional eagle ray that will pass by. These dives are from our beaches and have very easy entries and exits. The reefs are very close to shore with no long swims out and back. If a new scuba certification is in your plans we can offer you a complete Padi Open Water Certification in as little as three fun filled days. This certification is recognized world-wide and never needs to be renewed. This is a fun and exciting class that you will enjoy. We keep our classes small for the best quality in training. Referral certifications are popular. This is where you complete your academics and pool training at home and than come to Hawaii to finish the four open water dives in warm water to complete your certification. This certification completion only takes two days at three hours per day. Each day consists of two open water dives. This is the fastest way for you to complete your certification. If continuing education is in your plans we can take you through to Advanced Open Water. We can also supply you with boat trips that leave daily from Lahaina and Kihei going to Molokini Crater or to visit the Cathedrals at the Island of Lanai. Molokini Crater is about a thirty minute trip from Kihei. The inside of the crater offers depths in the 70 foot range while the back-side or outside slopes to depths beyond 350 feet. The water is usually deep blue and warm. At Molokini at times you can see large animals passing by. There is a moderate current on the backside of the crater which enables you to drift the complete dive. Many divers visit Molokini each year. The island of Lanai is about a 45 minute trip from Lahaina Harbor. The cathedrals is the most famous dive at Lanai. Here you will enter a large lava formation which holds 20-25 divers. Depths are in the 60-70 foot range. There are several openings at the back to exit the Cathedral. After you exit the cathedral you will follow your guide to explore the formation on the outside. Here you will see many fish and great lava formations. Your second dive will be to a reef in the 30 to 40 foot range. Here you will see the most marine life. Your bottom time will be greater due to the shallower depth. For information or to make reservations call Toll Free, 1-877-873-4837. |
