Maui Padi Certifications with Maui Scuba Diving will train you In as little as three fun filled days so you can become an official Open Water Scuba Diver. This training is good World Wide and for a lifetime. This is an exciting class and you will be given the personal attention that you deserve. Prices will include all equipment use, books, photograph, registration card and the best Instructors available to train you.

This first day will consist of registration and instruction about the first five modules of academic training. On your second day you will be trained in a confined water area to perform the certification skills to allow you to become comfortable and safe while scuba diving. Than you will do your first two open water dives. Your third and final day will be your last two open water dives and than your final examination. Upon passing the classes, you will be issued a temporary dive card to use that will be good for ninety days until your regular card arrives in about six to eight weeks. At this time you will be a fully trained open water scuba diver.

At this time we recommend diving several times on our shallower reefs to increase your comfort level or join your certified friends on a boat dive. You can go on to the Advanced Open Water Training to be taught even more skills such as navigation, deep diving, photography, search and recovery of lost items and many more, or go as far as Professional Open Water Scuba Instructor if you wish.

Referrals are also available with the proper documentation from your Instructor at home. Referrals take two fun filled three hour days to complete your last four open water dives. The prices reflect the use of needed equipment to course completion. Complete your open water training in two days. Each day is two to three hours with two dives per day. This way your total time will be diving. You will be able to have more time for other things if you wish or have even more time to go explore other Hawaiian reefs.

Our boat diving from Lahaina and Kihei can take you to our outer islands of Lanai or Molokini Crater to explore our fantastic lava formations. Some of the lava formations seen on the outer reefs can only be seen here in Hawaii. These dives should be on your list while visiting here. You will see many species of fish on our inshore reefs to maybe a large manta or two on the outer reefs. Turtles, eel and eagle rays are also abundant on the inshore reefs.
